Soon, we will be able to watch videos on offline mode on YouTube. Thanks to the new feature, which is to be introduced by YouTube, in its mobile apps that will let the videos to be downloaded onto devices for offline viewing.

This new feature will be launched in November, however, the official announcement was made on YouTube creators blog for channel-owners, and pitched as a way for them to attract even more eye balls.

YouTube always keep on finding new avenues and ways to draw attention of internet surfers. As part of this effort, a new feature on YouTube’s mobile apps will be launched later this year that will help you reach fans — even when the Internet connection is not available.

This upcoming feature will allow people to download videos to their gadgets to watch them for a short period of time, when Internet connection is unavailable.

YouTube is not divulging further details as for now, but promising a detailed blog post in November on “how this new feature will work to the advantage of viewers”. It’s thus still not clear that how long users will be able to store YouTube videos on their devices.

The new capability will be build on a feature in the Android version of YouTube’s app called Preload, which will enable people to “preload videos from the subscribed channels.
