According to data given by IDC Windows tablets will occupy 10.2 percent of the market share by 2017 from 3 percent of present time. There is a decrease expected in Android and iOS sales.

OS Year % Share Now Projected Share
Windows 2013 3 10.2
iOS 2013 60.8 58.8
Android 2013 30.6 35

As like other Microsoft products the tablets range is not so much successful. The main problem in this is due to same design strategies used by most of manufacturers, said Tom Mainelli, research director of tablet research at IDC.

The main target of Microsoft regarding Tablets is to provide people with 2 in 1 devices. Which are PCs and Tablets at same time. But most of the people don’t want to have a Tablet with much complexity like PC. But some people want to buy  tablets with PC power. So Microsoft tablets are best suited for people who are mostly on the go.

So try Microsoft tablets if you want to have PC power always with you.
